On April 27, 1945, an English plane had to make an emergency landing in Plougslund Mose after being hit by German anti-aircraft fire. 5 of the 6 crew members survived while one later died.

The Association for Local History will honor the crew by holding a small ceremony at the place. The ceremony will take place April 27 at 2PM. You are kindly invited. The ceremony will take place at the memorial stone that was erected on the 50th anniversary. You find the memorial stone at the parking area just south of Billund in direction of Kolding.

The chairman will say a few words in Danish/English. The association is hosting a glass of white wine/rose wine on the occasion of the day.
