Løvehuset – The Lion House. When you walk at Hovedgaden you will pass a red brick house called Løvehuset. It celebrate its 100 anniversary this year. You can read the full story about the house.
In 1980 the local sports organizationz were short of money. They got an idea: Why not sell shares in a stone. They sold the shares to the local community, and today you can find the stone in front of the Billund Center below the big trees.
Besides you can also find 8 stones each named by one of the original 8 Billund farms. In old times the farmers met to discuss local matters and also acted as a judge.
